Weird Red Rain Falls in India

In July 2001, an unusual event happened when the sky pours down red colored raindrops in the state of Kerala, India on July 25 to September 23, 2001 — the weird event is called the Red Rain phenomenon. The most recent blood rain in India occurred in June 2012. Above is a mini documentary clip from BBC.

It was initially thought that the rains were colored by fallout from a hypothetical meteor burst or sand from the desert, but has discovered and concluded that the rains had been colored by airborne spores from locally prolific terrestrial algae.

Year 2006, Godfrey Louis and Santhosh Kumar of Mahatma Gandhi University proposed a controversial hypothesis that the colored particles were extraterrestrial cells.

Would you believe that the red rain may have alien origin? Read more information here.
