Meet Dodo, a two-and-half-year-old male chimpanzee, who feeds tiger cubs every day for more than a year in Samut Prakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo in Thailand.
Since Dodo showed no fear of the tiger cubs, he’s trainers at the zoo wanted to challenge him — they worked with the chimp until he picked up the habit of feeding the cubs with bottled milk.
“It’s not difficult as he knows how to hold the bottle. I just taught him to hold it and stay with the cub. I’ve been teaching him every day so he can do it,” said 35-year-old Sirinaj who has been working at the zoo for 20 years.
Chimpanzees are in fact the smartest animal in the world – next to humans in all species on the planet. They have striking intellectual abilities which have enthralled human being since long. They make tools for hunting, go on collectively for hunting, and are competent enough to solve problems. Chimpanzees are capable of learning sign language and can communicate.
